Economic Development Incentives
Prineville and Crook
County's rail-accessible industrial development zone
is an Oregon Enterprise Zone. The enterprise zone offers
new businesses that locate within the 7 square mile zone
various tax incentives including corporate income tax
credits. In addition, the City of Prineville will waive
fees for water deposit, water hookup for sprinkler
system, and plan review. For more information, contact

Dinner Train
The City
of Prineville Railway owns and operates the
Crooked
River Dinner Train, a western theme dinner train,
operating between Prineville Junction and Prineville.
Special Interest
Also on the locomotive
roster is a 3-truck shay geared steam locomotive - The
MT. Emily No. 1, which is used on special occasions.
